Everybody already knows to eat protein. What's left to post?

Answered by Jason Odell, founder of RiseForIt

Your audience doesn't need more information. They need help doing what they already know. They know to eat protein.

They know to lift. They know to walk. And they still haven't done it.

Most trainers post the tip one more time, a little louder, with a nicer font. It's what everybody tells you to do. But anybody can tell them what to do. The job is making it easy for them to actually do it. Everything you know about fat loss is free. It's on YouTube, it's on Google, you can even ask AI.

And people still have the problem. They're still stuck, and they're still asking you about it on the gym floor. Your clients aren't stuck because they never heard of protein. They're stuck because nobody made it easy for them to actually do it. It's like the member who's had a key card for two years and still can't find the squat rack. The card was never the problem, it's that nobody ever walked them to the rack.

You can't do the work for your audience. You can't do their reps. You can't eat their meals. But you can take the thinking out of it for them. Goethe said it a couple hundred years ago: 'Knowing is not enough, we must apply.' Your audience is stuck at knowing, and your content is how they apply.

So that's what useful content really means - not more facts, but an easier way to do it. So instead of another 'eat more protein' post, here are a few you can use for your content. Give them your grocery list. Instead of 'you should lift,' give them the 3-day template.

Instead of 'get your steps in,' give them the plan for the week. Here's what that sounds like out loud. Instead of saying 'protein matters,' you say: 'Here's my grocery list, so screenshot it and go buy this on Sunday.' It's the same topic, but now somebody can actually do it.

Every trainer near you is posting the same protein tip, whether you know it or not. So here's a challenge that makes your content the useful one, so it brings in clients. This week, take your best tip post, the one that did well.

Turn it into something someone can follow. Maybe that's the plan, maybe the list, maybe the template. You're not finding new information. You're making the old information doable for them. Turning your tips into plans and lists is exactly what we build with you, so if you want it done with you, work with me.

And when you do that over and over, you become the most useful trainer they follow. And that one move inside your videos I promised you at the start? We're getting closer, but we're not there yet.
